"Thus saith Lord Yahweh; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.

A note from fellow artist Norbert H. Kox: William and I met in 1997 as a result of The End Is Near show we were in together at American Visionary Art Museum. We became close friends, and have painted several collaborations together since then. They can be seen on our respective websites, http://www.nkox.homestead.com/collabs.html, http://www.artoutsider.com/. In much of our theology we think alike. On the collaborations, we only paint what we agree on. We do not argue and try to convince one another. If there is something we do not agree on, we just do not paint it. Therefore, in the collaborations we do agree. This does not mean we agree on all things in life. William is much more politically outspoken than I am, and our political views do differ some. Yet neither one of us is either Democratic or Republican. My feelings are that, according to Scripture, followers of Christ should not meddle in politics. NHK

John the Baptist prepared the way for Yesu, yet he quoted Isaiah, stating that he was preparing the way for Yahweh. In this he declared that Yahweh is Yesu. Like the Apostle John said, "The Word was God."

Hello,

My name is Norbert H. Kox. You can call me Nor. I am an artist and writer, and have been a Biblical researcher for more than thirty years. You can see my work at www.apocalypsehouse.com.

I want to use this journal to record some of my spiritual experiences so that I can share them with you. I don't know how often I will be able to post. But I will try to keep things up-to-date, even if I only have time to post a few words; I'll try to get something out for you. If at all possible I will try to keep things current. Perhaps I may backdate a few entries so that I can share some previous experiences with you. Hopefully you will post some follow-up comments to give me some feedback.

I saw the light. It was not the first time, but it may have been the most dramatic.

Yesterday was a totally awesome experience. I had been up all night long, which is usual for me. At 6:30 AM (July 29) I decided to take a walk in the wilderness, along the train tracks near my studio. A short distance into the walk I began to experience some amazing phenomenon. I will explain later. I made plenty of notes by hand but have not recorded anything in type, yet. I have just been too busy.

I had planned on doing the writing today, and may do so later, but for now I need to get some rest. It so happens I was up all night long again and it is now 7:38 in the morning (July 30). My plan was to take a walk on the tracks again to see if perhaps the same spiritual phenomenon would reoccur. I was working and could not leave the house at exactly 6:30 this morning. At 7:00 AM, I was about to leave the house when dark clouds began to roll in. Within minutes it was pitch dark and the wind was howling like crazy. The rain started pouring down and it soon appeared like a hurricane. There was lightning right outside my Windows, and the thunder was cracking directly overhead. The whole building was shaking. It was a treacherous and threatening time. The storm raged furiously for a little more than half an hour and then fell into a dead calm. For a short time there was an eerie silence. Now the thunder is rumbling in the distance. Everything is soaking wet from the torrential downpour, so it does not look like I will be able to take my walk this morning. It looks like I had better get to bed for now and catch a little rest.

Later I will try to record all of my experiences from yesterday. I may also have some photos to post, if they turned out. I have not had a chance to view them yet.

P.S. The picture that accompanies this post is a miniature painting that was inspired by my recent heart attack. I'll tell you about it later. It has inspired a whole up-coming series on Light and Glory. I'll keep you posted.
